My photos do a good job of depicting the pattern and the color tones, a wonderful
embroidered floral design that pretty much covers most of the purse, both front
and back sides. Although the colors are strong, they are not overly bright
or gaudy, nor are they faded. They are presented on a soft white heavily quilted
soft vinyl background, that is, I believe it is vinyl. The background
material suffer no aging, drying or other problems, it looks like new. I can't
find one thing wrong with this purse, this bag has been well cared for, it is
spotless.
The interior is in the same condition as the exterior with a spotless satin
lining, multiple pockets and designer label. The part of the interior that folds
over the front of the purse is covered with a clear vinyl, making it very easy
to wipe clean, no hand dirt will effect that portion of the satin lining. The
label discloses that this purse was made in Rio de Janeiro and is an original
Marheta. The purse closes well with a snap closure and is reasonably roomy for
all your necessities.
Stuffed with tissue, this handbag measures 7½ in height by
9 in width at the bottom, the sides span out 1½ inches and the matching quilted
handle drop 6 inches. This is a wonderful and useable vintage handbag. It
would make a great gift or addition to your wardrobe accessories. Please
consider taking it home and just have fun with it.
