Each illuminating rhinestone is set in a bezel that looks like clear Lucite and
perhaPSthat is why, in the evening light, this handbag glows with an abundance
of color that I could not capture with my camera. The darker the lighting
gets, the more this purse twinkles with color, you will have to see it to
understand what I am talking about. My close-up photo of the stones shows
a little of it's glitter and a few of the colors but only to a limited extent.
The little Lucite bezels are not easy to see unless you are looking up close,
they just blend into all the dazzling shimmer. All the bezels are
connected to each other on a soft white net ground and every single one is
securely in place.
Check out the bright silver toned frame with it's full row of prong set stones,
topped with two chunky prong set rhinestones that form the clasp. The
purse is tightly stitched to the frame at all points and the closure and hinges
work as they should. The interior is lined with a heavy quality silver
gray satin lining, the pocket comes complete with designer stamp and clear
make-up mirror. Stuffed with tissue, this 1950 designer rhinestone clutch
measures 5 in height by 7 & 3/4 in width, it is 7 inches across the frame and
has a depth of about 1 & 1/2 inches. This clutch is clean and in hardly
used condition, actually it looks rarely used, beautiful vintage condition.
If you are looking for something a little different in a rhinestone clutch,
please consider this one, believe me, the sparkle and glitter this purse has in
the evening light is incredible.
