This one is all I could hope for, a show stopper that any woman will be proud to
own and carry to that special event. All the stones are clear, no apparent or
obvious darkening, all are prong set, none missing and all woven securely and
tightly together. I had my problems getting good photos and eliminating shadows, however truly, this
rhinestone purse is about as wonderful as they come. No pictures would show how
beautifully it shimmers and picks up the lighting. The medium sized,
multi faceted, foil backed stones are exquisite, they look like good
quality crystals. The plainer brushed gold tone frame does not compete with the
bag and the lift to open clasp works as it should.
 
The clasp is a puffy ball of rhinestones. The rhinestones are pasted into a
series of prongs, that have been pulled back and curled to resemble flower
petals. I have checked the stones, they all seem very secure, I cannot tell if
any have been replaced, they all look good to me but a few of the petal prongs
have gotten out of shape, as you will see under magnification. The original interior golden
satin lining, with pocket and label, is in very nice condition, looking gently used, perhaps only a couple of times, no wear or
tear. All elements of the purse are well attached to the frame and
everything appears nice and clean. This elegant and glitzy vintage Oroton rhinestone
evening clutch measures,
stuffed with tissue, a smaller 3½ in height by 8 inches across the bottom
and the side has a 1 inch gusset. This Oroton bag will carry only
your smaller necessities but will look drop dead gorgeous.
You will adore this designer rhinestone evening purse and cherish it for many decades to come.
