The crystal beads are cut and faceted, allowing for plenty
of gleam and are knitted on a tan or light brown background thread. The
close-up photo shows all the pastel tones of the beading but you can expect a
bit more sparkling pink when seen in person. The silver tone frame is
delicately embossed with a fancy scrolling design, I was so taken by the details
of the bag, I forgot to photograph the frame. Just below the frame's
hinges is a full row of fringes encircling the purse, adding more dimension to
this beauty of a handbag. The interior is lined with a lovely pink silk,
secured to the frame with iridescent beading, how sweet.
The purse bulges out a little where it is enhanced with three rows of
rhinestones that are glued into celluloid type settings. These setting are
knitted directly into the bag, all are in place and secure. One side of
the purse has all gold rhinestones and the other side has gold with 10
interspersed pink stones. The visual effect is charming and quite
dazzling. The bottom of the purse is finished with a rather chunky tassel
dripping in lush fringes. The purse has been cleaned for your enjoyment
and carries only a scent of freshness. My photos are good but they don't
show all the glowing sparkle. Measurements are: 7 inches from the top of
the clasp to the bottom of the bag, the tassel adds another 4 inches, 4½
across the frame, the body spans 5½ at the widest and the carry chain
drops 6½ inches. This purse is in perfect
condition with only some expected wear to the chain handle but no damages, bead
loss, repairs or stains. I do believe you will have a blast carrying this
Flapper bag, it's a fun accessory, I've not seen another like it.
