As you can see, the artist gave their all while working this very imaginative pattern.
The color tones are soft and feminine, yet not faded, the pastels are varied and
exhibit good tone. There is quite a bit of design on this purse, including
what looks like intermittent lattice worked within the beading. My photos
are good and show you what to expect. Also, this purse has been completely
professionally cleaned for your future enjoyment and carries only a scent of
freshness.
The gold tone frame is an extraordinary work or art and crowns this purse with
beauty and class. The silver toned beadwork is braided and beautifully
sculpted. The Champlevé style of enameling is grand
indeed and designed expertly, as the French were well recognized for achieving.
The faux pearls add the perfect enhancement and are randomly placed for optimum
effect. The interior satin lining is
complimented with a labeled pocket and should carry your more essential needs.
This elegant French evening handbag is a pure visual delight. The overall
condition is extra fine, little if any signs of age or wear, certainly no
damages or negatives, just a delightful hand made vintage purse. It
measures, stuffed with tissue, 4¾ in height by 8 at it's widest, it spans out
about 1½ inches and the delicate chain handle drops 4½ inches. I must also
mention that the frame widens in the center to 1½ inches and overall, this is a
lovely and stylish evening purse.
