My photos are very good but they don't quite capture all the depth to the colors
that this purse gives off. In certain lighting you will also see some
blues. The pearl, which covers "both sides" of the special carry-all, is in superior condition, no
damages, in fact, I don't even see a scratch. The purse is cased in a golden
brassy metal that is in very fine condition. Overall, it shows only a little
aging, it's nice and bright and so is the wide heavy mesh bracelet style handle,
offering a comfortable fit over the wrist. Since the
interior of this carry-all was never used, I would say this purse just sat on
top of someone's vanity to be admired or perhaPSwas handled occasionally and
then just stored away for safe keeping.
 
This compact carry-all, also referred to as a Minaudiere, is two sided with two clasps, all in solid order as are
all hinges and working mechanisms. The interior maintains it's original
components which include the unused powder well with clean unused puff, a clean
lipstick tube, the hinged money clip and the little fabric holder which contains
a lovely celluloid comb. The beveled mirror shows a clear images along
with some early signs of aging but nothing that detracts from it's use.
The mirror will service you well for decades to come. The cigarette compartment
has plenty of room to carry a vintage hanky if desired. This stunning
compact purse measures nearly 5 & 1/2 in length by 3 & 1/8 in width by 7/8 in depth and
the mesh handle droPS5 & 1/2 inches. Overall, I would have to say that
this is a splendid example of a vintage carry-all, in wonderfully well kept condition,
a treasure.
