As you can see from my photos, the pattern and detailing is quite complicated
and expressive, all areas were hand worked. This purse has a lot of
personality and will blend beautifully with many different wardrobe colors.
The condition of this handbag is remarkable, very clean and distinctive. I
detect no bead loss, no discolor to the exterior, no wear, just a well cared
for vintage treasure. This evening purse is fairly roomy inside as well,
stuffed with tissue, it measures generously at 6 in height, 8½
in the lower width, the sides and bottom
span 1¾ inches
and that fabulous handle drops 6 inches.
The frame is an eloquent crown for this purse sporting enameled workmanship in
the style of Champlevé, all highlighted with
beading and faux pearls, very elegant, appropriately color
coordinated and showing little if any age or wear. The interior has lots to offer with it's dual pockets,
lipstick slot, designer label and change purse with attached make-up mirror.
The interior lining appears only gently used but no abuse and has been cleaned to
the best of my abilities for your future enjoyment. This wonderful vintage
evening handbag has it all, it's easy to love and comes from a well
known and recognized French designer.
