The colors are strong yet soft, having multi pinks, blue, several greens,
browns, skin and earth tones, showing best in the first and last photos, along
with the true bright ivory background color. The condition of this purse is
remarkable, none have survived in better shape. Not more than a couple of beads
will be found missing on the entire purse. There are no stains, snags or flaws
to speak of and this purse has been professionally cleaned for your future
enjoyment.
The frame is covered in colorful coordinating beadwork that is flanked by soft
white twists of beading. The clasp is a cute filigree tab that is also
delicately enhanced. The brassy tone framing has acquired a nice aged patina but
there is so much beadwork that you don't see much metal. The interior egg shell
white satin lining is clean and damage free showing a little age but not too
much. It has a nice pocket and maintains it's French label. The chain handle has
darkened a bit from age, blending well with the brown tones and dropping the
purse by 4 & 1/2 inches. This gorgeous French beaded evening bag measures,
stuffed with tissue, 4 3/4 in height by 7 & 1/4 in width by 1 & 1/4 inches
in depth along the bottom and sides. This handbag is beautiful, in fabulous
desirable condition, you won't find a nicer one with this style of French
workmanship.
