The background bead is a bright yet soft white, not a stark white but nice and
white, without yellowing. The decorated floral display offers a rich
combination of pastel tones in pink, baby blue and lavender, all showing
well in the photos. Pale sea green leaves round out the colors. The
added golden amber beads are in the center of the flowers as well as the
additional sprigs. Both sides of the purse are identical, except the
flowers are in reverse, as shown in the last photo. The condition of
this purse is remarkable, few could survived in better shape. You might
find a couple of beads missing on the entire purse, but not many. There are no stains, snags or flaws
to speak of and this purse has been professionally cleaned for your future
enjoyment.
The frame is covered in it's original colorful beadwork, with the
additional tones of ruby red and deeper green, as well as multi tones of soft
white beading. The lift to open clasp is a cute filigree tab but is covered in
matching bead work, all secure and in place. The golden brassy tone framing
is bright and is nicely embossed along it's sides and edges. The frame
opens and closes as it should, all straight and proper, hinges are good.
I see no significant issues with the frame or the beading for that
matter. Nothing loose or out of order.
The interior egg shell soft white satin lining is clean and damage free
showing very little if any age, no apparent spots or damage, in fact,
this purse has been professionally cleaned. The chain
handle is the snake style and drops the purse by nearly 5 inches. You
can see from the profile photo that this purse has a nice wide gusset
and will carry your necessities. Stuffed with tissue, it measures 4¾
in height by 7½ in width and the sides span out 2½ inches. This
gorgeous Jorelle beaded evening handbag is a stunning
presentation. I am thrilled to offer it from a private collection, a
very pretty purse is superior condition.
